Don't let FLORIDA HISTORY BE HISTORY!
Our history is a story of our ancestors' triumphs and failures, their hopes and dreams, their loves and losses. It is a story that connects us to each other and to the past. When we preserve history, we are not just preserving old buildings and artifacts. We are preserving the memories of those who came before us, and we are keeping their stories alive for future generations.
Built in 1928, the Depot train station is located in Everglade City and ran until 1956.
